INTRODUCTION
- This is a collection of art works from 1996-2000.
These works explore a number of ideas and subject matter, as well as different
media, and scale. These include oil and acrylic paint, inks, as well as
some computer coloring. There are a number of different influences in these
art work, but the mane source of inspiration is in the art work of the Surrealist
art. in particular the work of Australian Surrealist artist James Gleeson
who's mastery use of color, composition, and organic shapes and objects
has been a major inspiration to many of the art works on this site.
Other artist that have been an influence
of my work are Salvador Dali, Francis Bacon, Roy Lichtenstein, Albert Tucker,
and comic artist Simon Bisley, just to name a few of the better known artist.
